Artists of Taste, Show Cooking, DJ Set with Radio Birikina, Thematic Talks and “Mani-Impasta”

 

Padua, June 26, 2026 – An exceptional start for the preview of the tenth edition of “Bufala Fest – All Forms of Taste”, the event that since yesterday has transformed the evocative setting of Prato della Valle into a true food and wine bridge between Campania and Veneto. The opening day recorded an extraordinary turnout, with thousands of people from Padua and tourists crowding the Taste Village to savour the delicacies of the buffalo supply chain, skilfully prepared and served by the Artists of Taste.

 

After yesterday’s enthusiastic success, Bufala Fest is preparing to offer the city of Padua a weekend to be fully experienced, dedicated to taste and conviviality. Entry to the Village and to the various thematic areas remains completely free, with an unmissable programme designed to offer a 360-degree experience for every age group. On Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, the Village will observe the following opening hours: from 12:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Artists of Taste in Prato della Valle

There are over 20 stands where visitors can taste dishes prepared by the “artists of taste”, the exhibitors present in Prato della Valle, who offer dishes and recipes featuring at least one product from the buffalo supply chain: Casa Penelope by Gianni Calaon (pizzeria); La Molisana (pasta factory); Berlino Beer, Food & Music (pub); Grazia Pane, Dolci & Caffè (pastry shop); La Mafaldina (fry shop + pizzeria); Caffè Pedrocchi (restaurant); Amsterdam Eeatertainment (pub); WOL (Pub); Gelateria Friso (artisanal and gluten-free ice cream); Antico Forno Padova (pastry shop); San Michele Sud Experience (pastry shop); Arte Bianca (pizzeria); Macchèpasta (restaurant); iDon Padova (pizzeria); Caseificio Le Colonne; Caseificio La Contadina; Manuel Caffè; Aperol .

Visitors can purchase tasting tickets for Adults (€20.00), Children (€16.00) and a special Gluten Free menu (€18.00).

On the official event website, by visiting the link https://padova.bufalafest.com/ticket/ there is a Skip the Line section from which it is possible to purchase the different types of tickets in advance, offering the double advantage of avoiding queues at the ticket offices and receiving a beautiful event gadget, to be collected at the ticket offices.

Giardino delle Idee greets Padua with a talk on the “Sustainable Vision”

On Saturday, June 27, at 7:30 p.m., the talk area set up in Prato della Valle will host a high-profile event on the theme “The sustainable vision: ESG criteria as a compass for the future of Italian agri-food”. The debate explores the evolution of the agri-food supply chain from a traditional model to a traceable and circular ecosystem. The panel, moderated by Silvia Bergamin of Il Mattino di Padova, features the participation of leading experts, including: Vincenzo La Croce, ESG and Strategic Marketing Expert; Albino Vitola, Chartered Accountant specialising in tax and financial support for agricultural businesses and Partner at Agrinoverim; Roberto Lorin, President of Coldiretti Padova; Riccardo Agugiaro, CEO of Agugiaro e Figna Molini; Walter Pierucci, Meat Specialist.

In the Taste Space, the area curated by Chef Erny Lombardo, free masterclasses and show cooking sessions are scheduled between Saturday and Sunday, according to the following programme:

  • At 7:00 p.m.: Master Pizza Maker Luca Gaccione leads the masterclass on the theme “Inside the dough: flours, maturation and false myths”, organised in collaboration with Agugiaro & Figna Molini SpA Benefit Company and with the Italian Pizza Makers School.
  • At 8:30 p.m.: for Azienda Agricola Scacco, Meat Specialist Walter Pieriucci presents the masterclass “The Butcher’s Profession: Meat Experience”.
  • At 10:00 p.m.: Chef Luca Malacrida takes visitors on a sensory journey curated by Olio Bono.

 

Sunday, June 28, 2026

  • At 7:00 p.m.: show cooking on the theme “Making bread, making time. Kneading, waiting, nourishing. Flour becoming everyday life”, curated by Pastry and Bakery Chef Ivo Corsini in collaboration with Agugiaro & Figna Molini SpA Benefit Company.
  • At 8:30 p.m.: final greetings and thanks with Chef Erny Lombardo and live music by Venice Vocal Jam.

“Mani-Impasta”, a full immersion in the art of pizza with Luca Gaccione and the Italian Pizza Makers School

Great anticipation surrounds the “Mani in Pasta” format, scheduled for Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, at 5:00 p.m.. Curated by the Italian Pizza Makers School and coordinated by Master Instructor Luca Gaccione, it is designed as a moment dedicated to the art of pizza, from stretching the dough to baking it in the classic wood-fired oven. An opportunity to discover techniques, gestures and attention to detail that transform flour into an authentic taste experience, with the support of Le 5 Stagioni flours by Agugiaro & Figna Molini SpA Benefit Company.

Taste blends with dance music, thanks to the DJ set curated by Radio Birikina, the official media partner of the event. On Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., the rhythm of summer is ready to make Prato della Valle vibrate, getting all Bufala Fest visitors dancing and having fun.
