Thursday marks the grand opening in Prato della Valle, featuring artists of taste, high-profile talks and show cooking
Anticipation grows for the “Mani-Impasta” format with Le 5 Stagioni flours
Padua, June 23, 2026 – Everything is ready for the preview of the tenth edition of “Bufala Fest – All Forms of Taste”, the event, resulting from the partnership between the Cultural Association “Giardino delle Idee”, Zed and Creaeventi, which from June 25 to 28, 2026 will transform the evocative setting of Prato della Valle into a true food and wine bridge between Campania and Veneto.
“Bufala Fest – All Forms of Taste” is organised in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana PDO and enjoys the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (MASAF), the Senate of the Republic, the Chamber of Deputies, the Campania Region and the Municipality of Padua.
On Thursday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m., the Village will officially open its doors, kicking off four days full of taste and culture. Entry to the Village in Prato della Valle is completely free, as is access to the talk and show cooking areas, and for the opening day on Thursday, June 25, the following opening hours are scheduled: Opening at 6:30 p.m. – Closing at 12:00 a.m.

The Bufala Fest village is divided into several thematic areas, designed to offer a 360-degree experience of taste, knowledge and entertainment for all visitors:
Artists of Taste in Prato della Valle
There will be over 20 stands where visitors can taste dishes prepared by the “artists of taste”, the exhibitors present in Prato della Valle, who will offer dishes and recipes featuring at least one product from the buffalo supply chain: Casa Penelope by Gianni Calaon (pizzeria); La Molisana (pasta factory); Berlino Beer, Food & Music (pub); Grazia Pane, Dolci & Caffè (pastry shop); La Mafaldina (fry shop + pizzeria); Caffè Pedrocchi (restaurant); Amsterdam Eeatertainment (pub); WOL (Pub); Gelateria Friso (artisanal and gluten-free ice cream); Antico Forno Padova (pastry shop); San Michele Sud Experience (pastry shop); Arte Bianca (pizzeria); Macchèpasta (restaurant); iDon Padova (pizzeria); Caseificio Le Colonne; Caseificio La Contadina; Manuel Caffè; Aperol .
Visitors can purchase tasting tickets for Adults (€20.00), Children (€16.00) and a special Gluten Free menu (€18.00).
Skip the Line
On the official event website, by visiting the link https://padova.bufalafest.com/ticket/ there is a “Skip the Line” section from which it is possible to purchase the different types of tickets in advance, offering the double advantage of avoiding queues at the ticket offices and receiving a beautiful event gadget, to be collected at the ticket offices.
Institutional visit by Regional Councillor Filippo Giacinti
On Thursday, June 25, at 7:45 p.m., the Bufala Fest village in Prato della Valle will welcome the official visit of Filippo Giacinti, Regional Councillor for Budget, Assets, Legal Affairs, Personnel, Programme Implementation and Digital Agenda of the Veneto Region. Councillor Giacinti will visit the different thematic areas and the stands of the Artists of Taste, bringing the institutional greetings of the President of the Veneto Region Alberto Stefani Stefani to the organisers, exhibitors and all visitors attending the opening evening.
“Giardino delle Idee” Area: the inaugural talk
At 7:00 p.m., the area will host the inaugural talk entitled “All Forms of Taste: the buffalo supply chain between vision, Mediterranean diet and Italian cuisine as UNESCO heritage”. The talk aims to analyse the evolution of the buffalo supply chain as a strategic asset of the Italian agri-food system, within the framework of the recognition of the Mediterranean Diet (2010) and Italian Cuisine (2025) as Intangible Heritage of Humanity. Speakers include: Luca De Carlo, President of the 9th Standing Committee on Industry, Commerce, Tourism, Agriculture and Agri-Food Production of the Senate of the Republic; Sergio Giordani, Mayor of the Municipality of Padua; Nicola Caputo, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the export and internationalisation of the agri-food supply chain and for European and international sector policies; Damiano de Marchi, Lecturer at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice; Pier Maria Saccani, Director of the Consortium of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana PDO. Moderated by journalist Alberto Rodighiero (Il Gazzettino).
“Taste Space” Area between show cooking and food excellence
In the free-access area coordinated by Chef Erny Lombardo, visitors can attend live show cooking sessions and masterclasses dedicated to the buffalo supply chain. Thursday’s programme includes:
- 7:00 p.m. – Agugiaro & Figna – Le 5 Stagioni Flours: “The breath of the grain: a journey into flour, from its origin to its transformation with Le 5 Stagioni”. An introduction to the milling world moderated by Nicola Demo, Technical Manager of Le 5 Stagioni Flours for Pizzerias.
- 8:30 p.m. – La Torrente: “The art of preserving the flavour of nature: the true taste of the territory”, a meeting moderated by Giovanni Torrente with the performance of a Master Pizza Maker.
- 10:00 p.m. – King’s & Rigamonti: “Following tradition, acting with care and dedication, letting oneself be guided by passion: a work destined for the king’s table”. Moderated by Luca Selmi, with show cooking by Franco Dieci and Chef Roberto Terasan.
Great anticipation for the “Mani-Impasta” format by Agugiaro & Figna Molini S.p.A. Benefit Company
On Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, at 5:00 p.m., the spotlight will be on the exclusive “Mani-Impasta” format, an educational and entertaining moment dedicated to visitors of Bufala Fest and curated by Luca Gaccione, Master Instructor of the Italian Pizza Makers School. This initiative, supported by Le 5 Stagioni Flours, a brand of the partner company Agugiaro & Figna Molini S.p.A. Benefit Company, represents an unmissable opportunity to immerse oneself in the art of pizza: from stretching the dough to baking it in a traditional wood-fired oven.
